Our initial meeting is usually in Annandale Sydney, where you get to know me and hopefully decide that I am the perfect celebrant for you.
We discuss ideas for making your ceremony extra special, creative and truly yours.
I will also take you through the legal wording which must be said during your ceremony.
A non-refundable deposit is required for me to save the date for you.
Accredited by The Attorney General’s Department, a Member of The Australian Marriage Celebrants Association and trained by the acclaimed AQT, I am well equipped to assist you in all legal requirements associated with your marriage ceremony.
Together we complete a NIM (Notice of Intended Marriage) also available online which must be completed no earlier than 18months prior to your marriage or no later than one month prior to your wedding day.
To file The Notice Of Intended Marriage, you will need to bring along:
Original Birth Certificates or an Australian Passport
Photo ID (Drivers Licence or Proof of ID Card)
Divorce Certificate – if applicable
Date of Divorce Hearing – if pending
Fiancé Visa – if applicable
Overseas Passport – if applicable
All documents must be in English or accompanied by a legally approved translation certificate. I can help you source a translator if required.
In some circumstances there may also be other documents required, however I will advise you.
In due course, you will also need to nominate 2 witnesses both over the age of 18 years to join you in signing The Marriage Certificate
Along with ‘scathingly brilliant’ ceremony ideas to ponder on, I will also give you several documents I am legally bound to pass on to you:
Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants
